Schools Programme

Mná Feasa work with young people in Transition Year in secondary education to raise awareness of relationships, coercive control and domestic violence and to help break the cycle of continued abuse. It is delivered to both male and female students.

Strategies that are used in this programme include:

  • Debate
  • Brainstorming
  • Challenging preconceptions
  • Identifying unacceptable behaviour
  • Exploring Relationships/ healthy and unhealthy
  • Discussing Safety issues
  • Provide clear information about domestic violence and how abuse is experienced
